First Five Event Sweep in IRA History
Listen - Varsity 8 Call (mp3, 11 minutes: first 4:30 include edited audio (it was longer) of the two restarts that occurred in this race and are worth listening to for the pressure leading into the final start)

"...Washington... has the juice, Washington has the juice...38 and a half for the Dawgs... 4:01... this is world record time stuff here...  Bruno trying to cut into Washington's lead... Bruno's bow card on the Washington coxswain... Harvard still third but doesn't seem to be able to get it up to get even with Brown... Washington still pretty much in control... now the coxswain is ahead of the bow marker for Brown... Harvard is 40+ and their coming on Brown... with 40 strokes to go, it's Washington still with about... not quite a length on Brown... Brown is 42 and has a tremendous sprint... Brown has taken it to 42 to try and row Washington down... here they come... Washington's making it's last drive but Brown is moving and Harvard is moving, I think Harvard may have a slight lead on Brown right now...Harvard's moving, they're taking it up... here they come... looks like Washington is going to hold onto the lead here... Brown and Harvard neck and neck... it's Brown...... Washington, Brown, Harvard..."

Michael Callahan Interview (mp3): "It takes a lot to get there, it starts with the support of our Alumni and Friends and our Athletic Department, it's really unparalleled right now, and it makes the difference between being good and being great..."

Luke McGee Interview (mp3): ...that's a real tribute to them (frosh) being able to train alongside some other high quality boats and to Mike, he runs a program that he values everybody in that program... and as a head coach that is the best program in the country right now, to allow the freshmen out there to race against those guys is invaluable... and you know that played out bigtime today...because they've done that before where they've had to focus on themselves..."
